Apiculture (Honey Bees) - swarm catch with Nasanov

Swarm Catch With Nasonov
Swarming is a major problem for bee keepers.  Use Swarm Catch,  the honey bee orientation pheromone, to reduce loss of bees and honey due to swarming. Will catch Africanized bees too. Place lure in super of empty comb or swarm catch box.

What is Nasonov?
Nasonov pheromone is released by worker bees to orient returning forager bees back to the colony.  To broadcast this scent, bees raise their abdomens, which contain the Nasonov glands, and fan their wings vigorously.

Synthetically produced Nasonov will attract swarms to unoccupied hive equipment or a swarm catching box.

Note:  Use caution when capturing stray swarms from other hives in the area, they may be infected with Tracheal or Varroa mites
